A low-budget hotel with kind staff and really good location. The rooms were clear, but unfortunately the dinners weren't so good as we expected.

The building doesn't look much from the outside but it's much better in the inside. The service and room was great, we saw the castle from our room. The food was great and everyone was nice to us. The castle is very close to the hotel which is nice.
They started to refurbish the restaurant the day we left so it will be be better in the future too!

-The facility seems to be refurbished last time in the 90s.

Honest place, it's not fancy, but it has facilities and it's really close to th city centre. A little bit weard down.

Pros: Great location 5 mins walk from the historic centre and Eger castle, friendly, helpful English speaking staff, good value for money. Breakfast included.
Cons: The bathroom in our room, and I suspect others, was tired, needed painting and renovation, and smelled damp and stale. .
The wireless Internet was very fast in the hallway - but it was weak and flakey in the room. If it's important to you, as it was for us, best to ask at reception beforehand if your room is close to the access point. Mind you, we did that, and were told ours had good wifi. To be fair to the hotel, they did tell us we had the last available room when we asked if there was a room with better Wi-Fi.
