Despite high reviews on TripAdvisor. Despite actually good dessert and a very nice service. It is not a good place. Try something else. The food is less then average and you go to tavern to eat usually.

Just in simple words... if you want to eat the best food in whole Zakynthos you have to try things from Ammos Taverna. I've tried many things and every single one was amazing, stunning and fuuuuuull of taste. I also have to tell that the hospitality that I experienced in this taverna was outrageous! So let's say tha ertho xana! :)

We went to the taverna as a recommendation and we don't regret it at all. The food was very good and the waiter was very friendly and we had a nice conversation with him. I think he's the first waiter on the island who was so joyful. They also have a pretty good beer variety. Really recommend this taverna.

Excellent food, good customer care and very friendly staff. Highly recommended if you want to eat real local cuisine
