Positive surprise. Something different in a menu with lots of starters, meze, and a short but decent selection of mains.
4 dips comes highly recommended.
Well worth diverting a bit from the 'restaurant street'. Google maps will get you there fine.

We tried many different restaurants during our stay in Chania, as well as during our entire trip through Sicily, Chania, Athens, Santorini, and Naxos, including some incredible home-cooked, farm-to-table meals at small farms. Well of the Turk was the best meal we had. The moussaka in particular was unbelievable. Great atmosphere in the garden, too, especially at dusk when they light candles everywhere. Also, plenty of vegetarian options. I can't recommend this place well enough!

We were incredibly delighted to find this restaurant. A modern twist on Cretan food. Be sure to try the beet dip. Delicious! And the chicken cigars and Moroccan brick - delightful!
Service was very professional. Cute little location with great people watching. We'd go back!
