Too expensive, old. Not worth 5 stars; should be 4. However, very much liked the golden olive tree in the reception area!

Hotel closed down during our stay.
When we checked in, we weren't told that the restaurant and bars were all closed. Instead they had left a letter in our room suggesting a staff dispute.
At the end of our first full day, another letter was posted under our door to inform us that the hotel was closing down the next day and we would have to find alternate accommodation.
Eventually, after several hours, the reception told us we could stay until our scheduled check out (3 more nights). However, there was no room service, the pool closed, all bars and restaurant remained closed, wi-fi stopped and breakfast was no longer served for the remainder of our stay.
Sadly Expedia, who we booked through were of no help at all, and not impressed that they made no effort to call me back as promised.
It obviously was once a very nice hotel, but has been neglected. It is also a little too far out of the centre and there is no shuttle service. But there is a really good bakery in the road behind and a great taverna just past the church.

Rooms are clean, but a little old. Needs a little bit of maintenance. Food at restaurant very yummy. Upset they close the pool with just a little bit of rain. Old tv. Wifi in rooms is tolerable. Lots if abandoned buildings nearby.

I stay 3 nights with my family, very good beds, expensive breakfast, but with good quality.

This hotel has everything I wanted; a rooftop pool/bar/restaurant with a view of the Acropolis, several excellent restaurants, fast room service, and a staff of very helpful people. They were extremely helpful, especially George the bartender, who gave me good advice on where to go for nightlife. Despina and Katarina worked at the front desk and were absolute angels. The entire breakfast buffet staff were very friendly and helpful.
My advice is to get the Business Package for an extra 39-Euros per day. It includes breakfast, the minibar, and a complimentary bottle of exceptional Greek red wine per day.
I would stay here again!!
