AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I'll tell it simple: they gave us a broken car, smoke started pouring from the engine after 4km, and we were broken down by the side of the road in the beating August sun. We then had to wait 40 minutes for a repair car and then take two taxis back to the agency. There, they said WE would have to pay for the damages (which we couldn't have possibly caused, as affirmed by the mechanic sent by Hertz) and also pay extra for a new car (no mention of refunding the taxi fare or lost time). These are thieves, liars and don't know the meaning of customer service. AGAIN: AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Fantastic central location, easy to reach by public transport, with a pretty direct route out of Athens. The staff are very helpful. It was easy to picj up and return here.
