The servings are generous and filling. The food is typical German and very delicious. I absolutely recommend the smoked roast pork and mashed potatoes mixed with sauerkraut (#118). Atmosphere is family friendly and relaxed. Cute decorations. Prices are very affordable. Multiple languages on the menu and with the staff which is very helpful!

Absolutely wonderful. Every time I am in Trier I eat here and the prices are much better than Luxembourg for similar meals. Try the Grauburgunder white wine...dry and goes wonderfully with the smoked pork and Trier mashed potatoes (mixed with sauerkraut). I hated sauerkraut as a child but these potatoes are to die for. Be sure to use the mustard when eating them...

Great service, good food and great location. The kids menu has several options with very generous portions at a reasonable price. Our waiters were English speaking and very professional. Our waiters recommended the chef's schnitzel which was amazing. Reasonably priced delicious food. I will definitely return.

Great food, menu in 3 languages and most the staff speak English. Our group ordered fish, potato balls, meat loaf and bratwurst. All were excellent. Great location, helpful staff.
