Would not recommend.
The hotel is clean and looks nice, but:
- At least in our room, there was a window between the bathroom and the bedroom. This makes it such that if someone turns on the light, the bedroom is illuminated as well, so if someone has to use the bathroom at night, it will wake the other person up. More serious, though, there is no privacy whatsoever when using the toilet.
- Someone went through my friend's and my luggage. We notified the staff, but they didn't care.
- We repeatedly asked the staff at which times we can use the spa. They always told us 'the spa opens when the spa opens', so we did not get to use the spa at any point during our stay. Very disappointing. We talked to the staff about this, but they didn't care.
Extremely disappointing overall, would not recommend.

Probably my second choice hotel in Nuremberg behind the Saxx. Location is excellent and the beds themselves are spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself is now a little dated, feeling somewhat trapped in the early 90's when it seems to have had its last floor to ceiling decoration - but that aside, as a base for work or pleasure it's not bad at all for the price.

Comfortable. Good breakfast. Reasonable value. Nice old city location. Sometimes a little noisy outside.

Lovely room. Very enjoyable stay. Such a great location for the main sites in downtown Nuremberg. On-site private parking is well-handled and very convenient.

Second time I've stayed there and I still really like it. Great breakfast for €7 per person and a nice sauna and hot tub.
The room we had this time faced the back of the hotel, so quiet. But it had a very odd window from the room into the bathroom, directly in front of the toilet. It's a clouded window, but still easy to see what's going on. So, be sure you're very close to the person with whom you're sharing the room.
