Stylish, cozy restaurant in the local art and craft neighborhood of the Westwerk. Serves good food with many options for beer and drinks. Prices are okay, but service is too slow. Good for larger groups. Book ahead on weekends as it's quite popular.

Excellent service, lovely staff, difficult to choose between all the delicious options on the menu. Really worth the visit. I am definitely recommending Kaiserbad to my friends.

Packed full on a Monday night. Super interesting menu. Friendly staff and no problems changing food for allergies and special medical diets. Wonderful all round night out. Yes service slow but who cares. All the rest was fantastic. I will be back! And that is not aomething I say often in Germany.

On day one we ordered coffee and cake. The waitress forgot the cake. After 30 minutes we left and only paid for the coffee. Ok, this can happen, so far so good.
On day two we went there for breakfast (9:00). We didn't make a reservation and we were told they were fully booked but we could sit on a small sofa in the corner. We agreed and had a fairly good breakfast. Portions are not big but the quality is ok. We sat there for about one hour and the restaurant stayed almost empty. When we left we noticed that there where plenty of tables who were reserved for 10:30 of even later. I wonder why they didn't allow us to sit there. As a guest it doesn't give you the feeling that you are very welcome. While we were sitting there a few other couples came in and asked for a table. They were all told that there was no table available. Why don't they let you sit at a table when there is more than 2 hours before the next guest come in. It's only for breakfast. Furthermore the staff is mostly young and inexperienced.
Location: lovely!
Staff: not friendly, not welcoming, inexpirienced.
Food: small portions, relatively expensive.

This is a beautifully designed restaurant in a great area of town, right next to the river. While the meals are tasty, the portions are unfortunately very small, and the drinks are not cheap, either. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere elegant yet cozy, which doesn't quite make up for the steep prices, but it's worth visiting if you're in the area. Be warned if you're allergic to cats, they do have a tiny house panther!
