This is not a Spa! Sauna is tiny and old. The pool is a joke. Don't go there!

To avoid

Personnel extremely unprofessional, laghing at us because we didnt not book an appointment. Also, the staff does not speak english fluently, which is to my perspective a basic requirement in a 4 star hotel. The pool is ridiculously small. I suggest you choose another place to relax.

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. My girlfriend booked a 50 minute massage for us through Groupon to visit the spa and pool (not as hotel guests). Our friends were planning to go around the same time. They cancelled the first appointment claiming an employee was out sick. The next available appointment was over a month later. We received an email confirmation for the appointment. We called on our way to the spa to ask about parking and were told that our appointment did not appear in the system, but our friends' appointment did.
The manager was very unprofessional and was unable to come up with a solution to provide massages for two people right after another appointment. She claimed she was sorry, but she would like to have a free evening. I asked if she had ever heard of paying someone overtime and whether or not they planned to have staff available for the appointments they made. There was no logical response. She kept offering free peelings and an alternate date, which we didn't pay for nor did we want. She finally called for backup and still could only offer to do individual massages, not a couples massage. We had to switch times with our friends so they ended up with a singles massage, which was also not what they booked. Then the manager said we could all drink whatever we wanted for the evening for free. When we ordered champagne, she said that she had no champagne left, but we could have white wine. When she brought our wine, there were 2 glasses of champagne on the tray for other guests.
We had our massages, which were not professional and they lasted for much less than 50 minutes. Mine was given by an intern, and my back is actually hurting me now. Before the manager went home for her free evening, she told the staff to give us two certificates for face massages at an alternate date, which we also didn't want.
When we ordered another glass of wine, the staff told us that the manager had told them we could now only have tea or water. We asked to call the manager to confirm and then they gave us another glass of white wine. When we ordered another glass of white wine, the staff said they were out of white wine and made the decision on their own to bring red wine without asking us. When we ordered a coffee, they told us that they spoke to the manager who had said we were not supposed to drink too much and we would not be able to have any more drinks again, even though it was only 7:45 p.m. and the spa was not closing yet.
The staff also seemed intimidated by the manager and were afraid to make decisions without calling to ask permission first. Overall, the manager's customer service and the spa's constant canceling or going against their word makes this an extreme disappointment.
The facility is not in as good of a condition or as aesthetically appealing as the pictures make it seem like. The faucet in the men's locker room was loose. The windows overlooking Frankfurt were dirty. The staff was unprofessional. The pool is extremely small. No one was at the counter to serve us upon arrival for at least 15 to 20 minutes either. The only two positive things about the whole experience was the time spent with good friends and the younger demographic of customers (20-30 year olds mostly).
