Got a private room for 40 euros and it was very spacious. Check in isn't until 4pm which may be an issue for some but checkout is at noon. Area is a little seedy but there were a decent number of people walking around at night so I didn't feel unsafe. Great proximity to the Hauptbanhof, less than a block walk. Would stay again.

Great for the price. I arrived very late (1:30am) to discover they'd overbooked, but they found a place for me to sleep anyway. The bar area was very lively and everyone was friendly, especially Esther. If you need a cheap place to stay and meet some other travellers, this is the place to go. It's very near the train station and has it's own bar. The other bars in the area aren't all that hot - just stay in the 5elements and meet some people.

The service was great. We definitely got a lot for our money. Its very near the station which is super convenient and only about a 10 minute walk to the centre. Only downside was that it was right next to the red light district which wasn't comfortable to walk through alone. Overall is really good.

Good value for money. Clean room, cheerful staff. 3night stay get breakfast free which was better than 10fr breakfast in Switzerland. But you better to be before 11. Some fruits were gone quick.

I enjoyed my stay at 5 elements. The location was fine, except as other reviews say, it is in the red light district. Which may be good or bad depending on who you are I guess. The rooms were clean and the place had a modern feel to it. Most of the staff I talked to were really nice and made me feel welcome.
