All in all not at all worth the money. The hotel desparately needs renovations. Please don't be fooled by images on third party booking websites. These do not accurately show the current state of the hotel.

The hotel is well-situated, very convenient. Apart from that, room was very basic. Although this is a five star hotel, there was no tea/coffee facility, the bed was uncomfortable because the mattress was old and the room was too hot, the ventilator did not work properly. We could only sleep with the window open, and since the room faces the street, it was quite loud. We had three sleepless nights because of this.

Nice hotel with excellent location. Quite busy on the weekend I was there and it was a challenge to find parking after 6 pm. Parking costs 16€ per night, fitness center costs 3€ per visit. Buffet breakfast was very nice, typical European spread with lots of bread, cheese, meats, English breakfast, nice fruit and veggies, etc. Bed was really comfortable and also enjoyed a hot bath after a day at the nearby Saxon Switzerland national park!

Very disappointing for a Westin. With Westin you never know if you'll get a modern hotel or one that seems like you have walked in to Grandma's living room that hasn't changed in 40 years. Unfortunately this was the latter. While we were traveling with our dog, which usually gets you a less desirable room, I didn't expect it to be so old and outdated - from the bathroom to the furniture it really was not typical Westin standard. Location was great, parking was easy, front desk staff was pleasant. Nevertheless if I went back to Dresden, despite my spg loyalty, I'd definitely stay elsewhere.

Stayed for three nights. Room had wood paneling and old musty smell-AC never seemed to get any cooler even with thermostat turned down. Bathroom was beautifully updated. Pool not heated and cold because it is in shade, although the spa had a nice sauna. Room service was great and the breakfast seemed overpriced. Overall wonderful location- that's the best reason to stay here.
