I made a reservation around 8:30pm, and sent an email that i would be there about 11pm. Of course i phonecalled then repeatedly, but thr number listed on the web is totally wrong. After sent an email, i was waiting their reply, but nothing was received.
When we arrived at the hotel, nobody was left on the lobby and the door was locked, and there was no sign for us. We were waiting somebody for more than 30 minutes, and finally found a memo behind of trees. If my husband was noy checking around the building, we couldn't find it at all.
So the memo guided us to use the key card they put behind the tree. BUT the card didn't work. We were trying to open the door for more than 30 mins, and finally called to the number listed on the memo.
After waiting another 20 mins or so, somebody came. He never told us sorry or any apologize.
The impression for Venusberghotel is really NO GOOD. Actually it was the worst hotel during this trip to Europe.
I recommend not to visit them.

Upsides: A nice and place with a very friendly staff. Close to nature and ideal for some walks / runs.
Downsides: quite some way out of the city center and rooms are quite small.

Small hotel with few rooms. Ok for one or 2 nights.

Clean and smart. Lacking a few facilities but has good bus connections despite being out of town. Good walking routes just meters away. Located on a relatively quite road.

Just great service, very good breakfast. The rooms are clean and very confortable. It is good location for peopke lookung for a calmed place. It is about 20 min by bus Form City center
