After arriving at Berlin my friend suddenly dropped plans for the evening so I decided to eat outside, best decision I've made this month, great atmosphere and had an amazing meal with a desert at the end, the staff is very kind and like I said the atmosphere is very special, has some history into it.

A perfect German pub, with wonderful beer, traditional food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and an intellectual vibe with a focus on its namesake, writer Joseph Roth. Reservations recommended, it fills up!
