Very nice hotel with very nice and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is a bit further away from shops, supermarkets, etc. but it is quite close to the Tiergarten and the Siegessäule, which is very nice for recreation and sightseeing.

Very poor for a 5* hotel. The rooms are spacious but room service isn't available when it gets busy. I tried for about 2.5 hours with no joy to get through to the take away menu number. They also failed to ring me back from the main room service number, and then when I rang this again to try and order from the take away menu, they refused to take my order, saying I would have to pay the €9 room delivery charge as I had rung this number and not the take away number. When I objected, they again promised (again) to ring me back, by which time I had run out of patience. There are only two easily accessible power sockets in the room for anyone using an adaptor, with just one next to the beds. The doors to the rooms rattle every time another guest closes theirs. A bit fell off the shower rail whenever I used it. The swipe card system for the lifts and doors is just plain annoying. A 5* hotel worthy of the rating just shouldn't have service levels and niggles such as these.

The location is great! Close to the park and in a central area for sight seeing. I wish the room had air conditioning and a vent in the shower. Other than that the room is clean and classy. The staff is polite and helpful. Would recommend and stay again.

American here, so I'll give my perspective as a first time international traveler. 1. No manual air conditioning control, don't plan on blasting your room cooler to get to sleep. 2. There are no ice machines at all. But I was able to get nice bucket of ice from the restaurant downstairs. 3. This is a little nitpicky, but no fan/vent in the bathroom. So prepare to listen to every sound coming outta there (US bathrooms usually have noisy fans both for ventilation and for drowning out unpleasant noises). With those out of the way, our experience had been very nice. The staff is professional and courteous, the location is ideal, the rooms are clean and well-stocked. Bed is less fluffy than I find in most American hotels, but still very comfortable. A note for Americans interested: there is only the European style power outlet, as one may expect. So prepare for that. I did, however, see some adaptors being sold in the lobby.

We loved our stay at the Sheraton. The room was large, bright and very comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and gave us great sleeps. The hotel is very near the Tiergarten and has a lovely quiet situation. If we had stayed longer we would have used the pool and Spa, which seemed very tempting. Breakfast was delicious and all the waiting staff were friendly and helpful.
