No AC in our unit. Details online says the hotel has AC but it's only in one room of the hotel. The feeling of the hotel was like I was staying at my grandparents house. Very friendly hotel staff, everything was clean, but just not comfortable.

Sehr empfehlenswertes kleines, familiär geführtes Hotel. Lasst euch nicht von den zwei Sternen täuschen. Unser Standard Doppelzimmer bot alles was wir für unseren Aufenthalt gebraucht haben, inklusive einer guten Matratze.
Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch das leckere französische Frühstück.

Beautiful view out of my room. Very reasonably priced. Stayed for 2 nights in February while studying abroad in France. I would really recommend this place to students looking for a place to stay near Nice. It is a perfect place to stay in a beautiful town, just 3 minutes from Nice.

I originally chose this hotel for its location and price, but was not expecting anything as good. We were armly welcome by the owner. It immediately felt like home. Our room was very clean and lovely, freshly refurbished, with a view on the patio garden, and lemon tree. Easy to travel from Nice (by train or bus), quiet (despite the proximity of the train station / rail tracks), walking distance of Villefranche village along the beach, and great to visit the area (Eze, Monaco..). Breakfast was continental, and coffee very good. But it's the only point we felt could be improved, for people with a savoury tooth it's lacking the boiled egg or the slice of ham.
We were due to fly back in the evening but wanted to enjoy the day in the area, as the hotel was not too busy, Franck and Patricia kindly offered that we could keep the room until our departure, instead of the normal 11am! In short, a fantastic place to stay where we will return as soon as we can.
