This is an old building, only partially renovated. The room stank of artificial bacon, there was no shower (only a wand over an open tub with no curtain), it had old fashioned radiators for heat (but did have A/C), there was no coffee or tea in the room. It did have Wifi, and an optional breakfast downstairs. The neighborhood is safe and there are shops around. This would be an acceptable budget choice.

Very nice small hotel a little off the centre of Nice. 10 mins stroll to beach ( Promenade de ang) 15 mins stroll to old town. Plenty of nice restaurants near this hotel. Great character lift in hotel .. old style cage with fold open doors. Rooms clear, tidy , en-suite, flat screen tv. Staff really friendly and helpful, feels like a family run establishment. Over all excellent.

Room would be great for people who are under 5'7". Looked nice but there was no space to move around in.

Nice, clean hotel room. Keen, friendly and helpful staff. 10-minute walk to Promenade des Anglais, 15-minute walk to Nice Old Town, 5-minute walk to Gare de Nice for connections to Cannes and Monaco/Monte-Carlo. Ideal stay for travelers.

This is a very pleasant hotel. As with most French hotels with this star rating, rooms are small, small shower. No tea/coffee making facilities. The plus side, very close to Rail SNCF, very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. TV only French so if not French speaking may have to YouTube for entertainment if not going out at night. The elevator (ascenseur,lift) is something out of Agatha Christie, very old but unique. Staff pleasant, breakfast is extra. €1.50 bed tax at the time of writing.
