Nous sommes venu à l'hôtel pour une réunion professionnelle, une journée de formation, nous avons été très bien reçu, personnel nombreux et aux petits soins, parking souterrain à proximité nous avons également très bien mangé buffet froid plat chaud dessert en quantité, le bar propose toutes les boissons que l'on souhaite, la salle principale est au modèle conférence avec estrade, écran géant, videoprojecteur, des collations chaudes et froides sont proposées dans toutes les salles.

Hotel having trouble with water so the shower had to be run for at least 10mins before the water was warm enough to shower.
Very old rooms. Carpet lifting and pieces falling off in the bathroom.
Parts of hotel seem to be under renovation so avoid this place during the day unless you like the sound of concrete drilling in your ear.
Housekeeping comes into room regardless of do not disturb sign on door.
No safety deposit box in the rooms.
Breakfast limited as were the tables.
On the plus side, the hotel is a 10min walk from the old town and the Corum convention centre.

The hotel's position is really good - so close to Place de la Comedie, and yet in a quiet area of the city.
Expect efficient albeit cold service from the staff.
We were lucky and got a newly refurbished room - really nice!
It looks like the hotel is getting a complete overhaul so if you're staying anytime soon I'd ask to be in a refurbished room, if available.
The on-site restaurant is expensive, but the food is not bad.

Nice comfortable room and pretty ok from inside but the outside is a little bit "triste" as the french would say. Dunno why Mercure says that this is a 4* hotel, it doesn't have a pool or a gym and there's not much else to do than sleeping and hanging in the nicely designed but every day empty lobby, restaurant or terrace... Location is OK, be aware though that the hotel is located at the "end" of the city centre. Anyway, anything is in good reach and it's clean. Oh! Pro-tip: If you want to sleep a little longer, be sure to tell the manager, otherwise the staff will wake you up to clean the room no matter if there is a "do not disturb" sign or not.
