Acapulco is an OK little hotel for spending a night or two in Montpellier without making a huge dent in your wallet. Staff are nice and helpful, and location is really good if you like wondering around and getting to know the locals.
The building is pretty worn down and the rooms aren't super clean, but then again, it's a fairly inexpensive hotel.
Word of advice: do not trust the "Free public parking" in the listing. It's near to impossible to find free parking in Montpellier, so keep in mind you'll likely be spending an extra €15-20 a day on parking (unless you want to spend half your day driving around in search of a free spot).

Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Beyond satisfied with this accommodation and I would stay here again if I needed someplace in Montpellier in the future.

Definitely a budget hotel, but still fine for the price. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean, which is all I really care about when travelling.

This hotel is simple, charming, calm and has a lovely patio garden. The bed was amazingly comfortable, I slept really very well. The Wifi works, so did the air-con. The owners get the basics right. It's a ten minute walk from the cathedral and other sights.

The hotel is charming stately home. The receptionists were very nice. The free WiFi was great. The view from our room towards former Saint-Charles Hospital was fine. Except these points the general state of the hotel was pretty old/crumbling (Huge crack on the room doc, worn chairs, the doors of closet were loose like hell) and the incoherent interior design (curtains in the same room didn't match, bed cover with a cartoon-like elephant, yellow kitchen, floor tiles had a pattern looking dirty even if clean, furniture looking second hand and worn, ) didn't make us feel in a clean place. The bathroom was pretty small and most lights didn't light enough. Bad sound insulation, we could easily hear our neighbours listening to their TV or talking.
