I was very pleasantly surprised for the price of 60€ a night. I stayed during the tour de france and it was the cheapest hotel near the start area so I didn't expect much. I got a small, clean room and a renovated bathroom. Friendly staff. It's a bit of a confusing and not very picturesque walk from the central train station, lots of traffic outside but very good window isolation so you don't hear much. I suggest taking a public rental bike (le velo) instead of the tube or busses, it's a nice ride from the carrefour down the street to the old harbour and both major beaches.

The staff and rooms are great, my room even had a view of Notre Dame de la Garde! The only not so convenient thing is location, as it is 15min walk to the nearest metro station
