Disclaimer: My visit to La Rocca was based on Italian dining week in October 2017
As we stepped inside La Rocca, it was rather chaotic with waiters shouting back and forth and one of the guys (the owner?) just barked at us to get inside, instead of showing us the table. Fine, enough - dining week with many guests could be busy, but surely they must impress us so that we would return?
Fortunately, the dining experience went uphill from there. We received friendly and attentive service from another waiter after that. The food, as described in the picture was a starter, primo, secondo and dessert. The starter was delicious but the primo with the pasta didn't impress me much. I remember fondly another dining week in another restaurant where their primo floored me with the most amazing flavour ever. This? Not so much.
The second was veal in port wine sauce. The veal was juicy and tender but again it was nothing special that wowed me. The dessert, however (coffee semifreddo) was awesome. It was ice cream coffee of some sort, that was super delicious that I wish we could have more of it!
I could see that many people wrote in their review about the amazing seafood pasta, which of course not included in the dining week experience, so I figured that maybe that's why I wasn't impressed much with their food during dining week. In that case, maybe I should give this place a chance and order the seafood pasta next time.

Really, really good food. Ambiance and decor are very nice as well. Service was sophisticated.
