Another great stay. Wonderful staff, beautiful beaches and WiFi is now offered in the lobby.
I won't mention the food since every review about a Cuban resort makes negative mention about the food. I will say that since I've been to many resorts over the last few years, Bella Costa's isn't that bad compared to many of their neighbours.
Cannot seem to understand how this is four-star resort... Probably a two or three.

It is not a good hotel, for European standards at least. The rooms are very old, as is the rest of the place. In my room, the window was broken and re-glued with scotch tape! Some of the staff is nice but many are just not polite. The restaurant has a big variety but not really high quality foods.
Don't expect internet. You can buy an hour of it at the lobby but it's really slow.
Haven't been to Cuba before and don't know what the other hotels are like... But this one I wouldn't come to again.

This hotel was nice it defiantly needed some updates and stuff. The food wasn't as bad as I though it was going to be everyone told us that it was horrible and it was hard to survive I call those drama queens out haha it was great I mean I just wouldn't eat Cretan things.. lots of fresh fruit!!! The beach was amazing
The last day I wanted to buy somethings and I paid by credit and the women told me that it didn't work and that I need to pay by cash.. so I ended up not getting all I wanted which was fine and then when we got back home the payment actually came off and I found out what the word on the receipt meant and it was Sale... but in Spanish... foolish me I won't be that naïve again. Just be careful..

This hotel isn't too bad however they should really work on the food safety and handling. Chefs weren't wearing any gloves when using the cutting machine for cheese or deli, also birds were everywhere in the restaurant eating food from plates and even inside the kitchen which is of course a major health concern. Room cleanliness was good though and the beach was awesome.

Stayed here about a month ago and it was mine and my husband second trip and our friends forth. The hotel is outdated and some rooms are in need of repair. Our room was fine minus the fact our shower head didn't hang up properly. Our maid was amazing and very helpful. Left lots of extra water, towels and toilet paper. Overall I found the staff / service very good. Beach is beautiful and no shortage of lounge chairs at the beach and pool. The pool is big and located near the bar but disappointed there is no swim up bar. The pool lining needs to be desperately replaced. The food was okay, not a ton of options and I did get sick one night but I can't be sure if it was related to the food or too much sun and drinks. The BBQ by the pool that happens daily was by far the best , cooked perfectly. Lobby bar and outside patio was fun in the evening with music and dancing. We met a lot of great people and overall had a great time but wouldn't return to this resort.
