Best hostel in Pula. Awesome terrace; fully stocked bar with low prices on beer, wine, liquor, and espresso; caring and professional staff; very clean rooms and facilities; huge kitchen; and perfect location right in the center.
They offer cheap airport pick up and drop off (taxi to airport is massively expensive and buse schedule is wacky).

Very unhappy with this stay.. (2 nights)
There are way too little bathrooms and showers for all the people.
On top, I've found 2 bathrooms where you either cannot lock the door (mens toilet) or not even close the door properly (ensuite bathroom in one room). The door of the first main room we had could only be closed if you lock it, which means it stayed a bit open all night...
The bunk bed we had first night was squeaking like hell.
In that room there was a "couch" where it was obvidously impossible to sit on cause it's broken (why not remove that thing..?).
The pillows were pretty disgusting, if unlucky they are superhard and uncomfortable as well.
And if you have "Sea View" be prepared for a loud night as the street in front of the hostel is super loud as well as the harbor labor over there.
But what tops all of that... we got bed bugs. I woke up next to a dead one next to my pillow. Since I had never any enounter with one (been travelling a lot, lots of South America, in maaaany hostels, never) I wasn't sure it was one, just didn't think about the possibility. When in the afternoon the whole room was empty but our stuff and they moved us to another room cause of a "booking-mistake", which was a lie in the end cause the room remained empty and locked, there was not really a doubt about that. Since it takes often some days until u see the bites, we thought they didn't get us, but boy, they did. :(
At least they took action, sure!
But they should have informed us honestly so we could have had certainty and took early action to remove them if they got in our luggage.
Its in a good location.
There is free breakfast (cornflakes, milk, toast, jam, chocolate spread).
The terrace (main chill out area) is nice.
Its rather for party people who don't care too much about cleaniness.
And obviously the bug thing can happen to many hostels cause you just don't know who sleeps in your bunks, but lying about it to the affected people certainly doesn't help either.

Super friendly staff, good location, good atmosphere in the bar on the balcony. Overall a really good hostel.

Very nice and helpful staff. Good rooms fresh and clean. We had a great time staying at Riva Hostel !

Great value. Very friendly and helpful staff. Small unstable bunk beds and not the cleanest, though.
