Fantastic updated facilities, but lacks something intangible. Difficult to find. Not spacious feel,. Overlooked/zero privacy. restaurant closed and no shop, so 30 minutes plus walk into town.

A smaller site, next to a massive holiday 'village'. Pitches are marked out by hedges, and are well drained gravel plots. Fantastic toilet and shower block. However, I was horribly ripped off, told to pay €20 on top of the overnight fee to 'book' . The site was less than half full and only cost €17 per night, and I'd book only 5 days in advance (I was later told they keep reservations WITHOUT PAYMENT for 7 days!!) I should not have been charged this fee and I am not happy that I was. The explanation was, 'this is normal'. Well, I've never paid it before in the 5 years of camping...
This left a horrible feeling for what should be a nice place.

We only stayed one night here in our tent, but I could have stayed for weeks! The facilities were gorgeous, and looked like they'd only just been completed. Great wifi too. Would highly recommend this lovely little family-run campsite!
