The food is okay, service not so much. This place really needs to establish some sort of reservation system because they have customers waiting at the door every single evening. You can't call and reserve a seat beforehand, you have to sit at a bench outside waiting for sometimes an hour hungry. It's quite inappropriate and could easily be solved. A hair came out of my sushi once but they were kind enough to replace it.

Ajisai never disappoints. This place is small and doesn't take reservations, so be prepared for a line up. Everything is fresh and quality is always consistent. One of the best medium-low priced authentic Japanese restaurant in town.

The BEST sushi place in Vancouver.
Never ever go to Miku again, come here.
The price is good, the fish is fresh, and they chef's know what they are doing.
There are better, more high end places in Vancouver, but you cannot beat the price point and quality balance you get here.
Go to place for sushi for sure.

Amazing sushi, probably some of the best in the city. Their pressed sushi is a must-try, particularly the salmon pressed sushi. The restaurant is quite small and there is usually a wait, so either come during non-peak times or plan to wait at least 30 minutes for a group of 4. Absolutely worth the wait though.

Sincerely the freshest sushi I've had in Vancouver. I love seeing the guys rolling sushi with love and joy while sipping on sake. That good vibe transfer into the food, making it so much better!!! I like the casual, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, aside from all of the above, prices are very reasonable and the quality is definitely there! 👍🍣😋
