I had a root canal, a few fillings and cleaning a few times. He is a very good dentist. If you are a bad patient I don't think it's the dentist's problem or fault.

Lovely people, hygienic....(I say that because the one I used to go to on West 4th, the dentist never wore a mask!) very accommodating and they also charge directly to you healthcare provider (should that be something you're looking for) :)
