We came here because a local recommended it to us and we were not disappointed. The seafood chowder is a must and the cocktails were also good -my favorite was the blueberry daiquiri. A bit pricey but is a good place for special occasions.

Gave this rating because although the entree (salmon was excellent,) the calamari was tough and the wait time was far too long. We did not receive our main course until 9:10 with a 7:30 reservation. Waitress was very nice but you can only ask a table about more drinks so many times before they all get smashed waiting for the food to arrive. Every other table seemed to be in the same predicament.

With incredible food and friendly staff, Oliver's is an all around great restaurant to go to for a nice dinner. Reservation is usually needed. Giant pepper shaker is defiantly neat! Very warm and inviting environment. Food is very good with many different flavors and the specials very interesting. Quiet music making the entire experience even better. Michelle our waitress was very friendly and was happy to talk and didn't seem rushed. All of the staff were very hospitable. Hope others can enjoy!

It is very small, so plan your night in advance.
The menu had good choices, that all looked tasty, but was a bit overpriced on some items.
The server was very friendly and knew the menu by heart.

Tried cod tongues for the first time, I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was very good! A Newfoundland delicacy. We also shared deep fried calamari with an excellent Thai sauce.
I went with the curry seafood pasta plate. A good choice, very tasty.
Everyone at the table enjoyed their dinner (we all tasted each others plates)
