Took my dog in for surgery a week ago, no complaints here, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and now my pup is as healthy as can be! Would recommend Murdoch in a heartbeat.

I have been coming to Murdoch Veterinary Clinic since 1998. Dr. Murdoch has always taken great care with all of my pets (horses, dogs, cats) I have always been treated with compassion by herself and her associate doctors. I had to call Dr. Maggs out to the property last fall when my horse colicked, it wasn't a simple colic, it would have required referral to a bigger center and a minimum $5000.00 surgery, unfortunately at this point in life I could not afford the referral and the only other humane option was euthanasia. I applaud Dr. Maggs for her compassion and honesty, she even called Dr. Murdoch to consult with her about my mares condition, Dr. Murdoch offered to speak with me, but I knew I personally couldn't face that (I was already a wreck), and trusted Dr. Maggs diagnosis. My fur babies and I are well taken care of by this group of professionals. I highly recommend them. I currently have 3 senior pets who have been frequent visitors :) Sincerely, CC

I brought my dog in after a fall. Granted it was on a Sunday so I knew there would be emergency fees. I would not gave here had there been ANY other option given my experience tonight. I expected X-rays, which were suggested "just to be safe" after the physical exam. What I didn't expect was to be told to put my dog down and to be charged nearly $800 for the process. Taking advantage of pet owners in traumatic situations is definitely a priority for this vet. The suggestion to kill my dog aka my child, which should be a LAST RESORT not the first choice disgusts me. My dog will be getting seen elsewhere. I do not recommend this vet.

This is a superb veterinary clinic; all the veterinarians and staff members are not only caring, compassionate and friendly, but also very professional and knowledgeable. The clinic itself has the latest technology, is well laid out, clean, and very welcoming. The vet we use for our two cats, Dr. Jennifer McConnell, has been exceptional in every way. The first time we met her was just after we moved to Prince George, after our female cat had been attacked by a husky. Dr. McConnell impressed us greatly with her very kind, gentle manner, and it was a relief to find such a dedicated vet to look after the well-being of our two cats. Every member of the clinic is always ready to assist in whatever way necessary, and always with a smile. Our questions are answered quickly and Dr. McConnell's expertise and advice is always appreciated. Wonderful clinic run by a devoted group of professionals. Kudos!
