I absolutely dread going to hair dressers cause I'm always afraid to speak up and tell them how I want my hair, I usually let them do whatever they think is best. I saw Sarah several months back and I just keep thinking of how much I want to go back to get my hair done again! She was so great and she could totally read me and visualize how I wanted my hair to look! It was the best experience I ever had! I'm looking to go even lighter with my hair and I'm hoping I can get in again one of these days to do it! Thanks so much Sarah, you are awesome!

I recently got my hair done at this salon by Brittany and she was absolutely phenomenal. I had just met her yet she treated me as though we had known each other for years. She was very attentive, patient and understanding of me being particular with my hair. She wanted to make sure that I absolutely loved it and was happy with it more than anything else. The owner was also very nice and accommodating. Plus - BONUS - I got 20% off since it was my first time! Was a nice surprise :). Highly recommend the salon and highly recommend Brittany!

This is by far the best Salon I have ever been to. The staff is amazing! I love the relaxed atmosphere and my haircut and lowlights are perfect every time! I would highly recommend Violet Hair Lounge!

I don't normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as I've been going here for years! I have long hair, so I can get pretty picky about salons. After trying a bunch of places I feel like this is the best haircut in Nanaimo.
