The only reason these guys got 2 stars instead of 1 was because they are half-decent at making sushi rice. As a result, the maki are passable.
That's where the positive stuff ends, because overall it was way too expensive for what they are providing. They charge $2.50 for a single piece of sake nigiri. For that, you expect a decent cut of salmon - but it was about 1mm of fish over a handful of rice.
We also ordered salmon sashimi (same price as the nigiri), and they gave us the same thinly sliced salmon wrapped around julienned cucumber. It's fine if you want to put that on your menu, but DON'T call it sashimi. It's not.
Finally, the handroll. At least this had a decent amount of fish, but it was so poorly cut (with the grain instead of against it) that I couldn't bite through the fat running through the sushi and had to swallow it almost whole.
It was a $50 meal that I could have gotten for $20 at a chain like Sushi Shop. Pretty pathetic, guys.

Worst customer service! I didn't even ate there. I call at the restaurant and the lady over the phone hang up the phone. I did not even finish my sentence. That's the worst thing you can do to a customer

Place seems clean, but order wasn't fresh. I understand "made-in-advance" concept but rice appeared to be dry, at least half of the pieces were stuff with "soft" tempura that absorbed too much humidity... and it was 6pm not late evening. Given the quality vs price factor, about 35$ for 20 pieces, I wouldn't recommand this place first hand. Unfortunately there's not too many choices for that part of Mont-Royal so I hope they improve for this neighborhood. Otherwise it's worth going more west.

It's good. I go there when I want good Sushi. Space is a bit cramped, ambiance is okay. People are friendly and helpful.

Very fresh and inexpensive sushi. The various specialty options are great. Yakusa and Orchidée being my faves. Yumm yumm! When i have a craving for good sushi, I will detour to come here. Comfortable & quaint for dinning in. Call ahead for pick-up order or walk-in for take out. Love this place! *Can often find nearby street parking.
