Biggest rip off ever. Was a Saturday when I found my cat in pain, with not much choice went to the newer vet clinic of this one (run by the same vet doctors) They charge way to much for no reason. They claim to need to sedate your animal for the littlest things. When I got my bill for the x-rays and casting I was shocked and not pleased, only for the cast to fall off 7days later and to come back to a different doctor who continued to tell me that she "didn't understand why the doctor casted her leg like that" they then charged me more money for their mistake. Through most of my cats casting I continued to go to them so other vets wouldn't be confused. When I got it re-casted again it fell off not even 24hrs later and they still made me pay 60$ why? For their mess up. They charge you for EVERYTHING! They will try and put your animal on any sort of pill for money. Also if they want to sedate your animal ask to go back with it, they won't sedate them when your there because really the animal isn't fighting in the first place. I would NOT recommend these people to ANYONE! I moved to Edmonton and found a different vet that charged me 15$ for a bandage change when they charged me 60$

Worst humans I've had the misfortune to encounter.
My dog had been getting sick, and I was sure she had gotten into something she shouldn't. She was slow to react, and not her usual spunky self. I took her in to Uplands Pet Hospital, in the middle of the night, and was told there was a vet on her way. The lady was polite enough, but I wish I could have had other options at that time of night, because anywhere else would have been better than Uplands.
It was a series of minor mistakes made between the vet, and the lady who was supposed to watch over my sick girl through the night. Why I had to pay hundreds of dollars for someone without any qualifications to babysit my poor sick girl.....
She later required two surgeries because of their mistakes, which could have been avoided if they had just treated her stomache instead of almost killing her!
Do not trust these people with your loved ones. For one thing, they don't view your pet as a valuable life the way that you and other vets do. For another thing, they are careless, and not knowledgable enough to be making important decisions about your pet's health.
