I've been here many times and I'm always impressed with the food. The chef is amazing and I love the flavours. Service is usually pretty decent. My biggest complaint is that large lunch groups get a reduced menu at dinner prices, so it might not be the best place for your work parties. With all that in mind, my wife and I keep going back for the food.

Great please for a beer on a cold winter night. Dropped I with a small group and was treated to fast friendly service and a good selection of beer.

It is always a pleasure to dine there, the food and atmosphere is great. The bar is a great place to hang out and the dinning area is very suitable for friends and family. A definite 5 star from me.

An urban gem on the outskirts of town.
1951 West Kitchen and Bar is a must-visit for anyone in Bells Corners looking for something better than a pub without going down town.
The food is artfully crafted and presented, and they have an excellent variety of dishes, and wine and beer pairings that hit the mark. Think of a pub gone fancy, and you're getting the picture. Their dishes are classics with a twist... a little something interesting while still knowing what you're getting.
The atmosphere is a specially crafted combination of rustic and contemporary, marrying raw brick, reclaimed wood and edison lighting with high gloss tables and dark wood accents. 1951 West has style, but doesn't make you feel pressured to live up to its flavour. It seems to be a hidden gem as its mostly very quiet. I visit often but rarely see a full house.
Must try: Southern Fried Chicken and Waffle. It doesn't sounds classy, but they make it so!
