I was very impressed with the level of service, the diverse equipment and all the amenities of Snap. Couple that with no contracts and reasonable membership fees - awesome.

Pro's
- No contracts
- Gym is open 24/7
- Equipment is good
- You can actually hear the stereo and they have a lot of nice flat screen TV's
- Plenty of Squat Racks
- Nice green groom which is pretty unique and is a nice place to get your squats in
- Facility in general is brand new feeling, probably because it is brand new lol.
Con's
- Gym is too small and impossible to workout in some days
- Free weight section is way too small of an area.
- You have to pay for the access card and if you cancel they will try to get you to keep it to prevent reimbursement
- Some machines are too close together
- Staff come off as kind of fake and cocky. Better off going during non staffed hours just because you get a "judgy" feeling from them when working out and they try to sell you their programs/personal training.
Overall
Go here if you like to workout between 10am-1pm and want a non busy gym, or if you like to workout late at night (after 11pm) and if you hate contracts. Better than some gym's in kamloops (much better than gold's)

Let me be the first to give one of the best reviews in the favour of Snap fitness Kamloops to deleting that review and giving you the most accurate. There is no doubt this is a beautiful gym with high end workout equipment, however if you would like to remember what high school was like; this is probably best suited for you. The staff and owner come off as overly nice, but they are mean girls that love drama. If they don't like you, they'll talk about you amongst staff while their clients are near, watch you on camera, or even find an unjust reason to terminate your membership without having the lady balls to do it in person, so they'll just send you an email the day after billing goes through for the next month so that other members who want to cancel have to pay an extra month. They will lie about why great staff members left, and they will bend current rules to conform to something completely unrelated so it works in their favour. So if you like walking on eggshells and you enjoy fake smiles then look no further than 989 McGill Place. Karma is a b**** sweethearts. XO
