After nine months of suffering with severe SI joint pain I was referred to Dr. Aucoin and within one appointment she was able to determine the cause and alleviate all my pain. I could barely walk when I entered her office and after one alignment I was able to walk without pain and even run again. I truly consider Dr. Aucoin a miracle worker and highly recommend her!!

I was recommended to Maritime Chiropractic & wellness a couple of months ago and it has been nothing but good experiences. Everyone there is friendly and eager to help. The best part of Maritime Chiropractic is that they work as a team, ensuring that you get the help you need. I would strongly recommend the Maritime Chiropractic & Wellness centre, you won't be disappointed.

Monique is the third chiropractor I've seen and by far the best. I tried several different things for my chronic shoulder pain and seeing Monique is the only thing that has consistently helped me. She also helped me with significant knee pain when I first started running. She cleared it up using laser therapy and it had never returned.

I've been going to see Dr. Monique Aucoin since August 2016.
I highly recommend Monique and Maritime Chiropractic & Wellness. I've had neck & back issues and went to a variety of Drs. & clinics for help, Chiro and Laser Therapy with Monique are giving me the best results. The office is at a really convenient location in downtown Halifax on all major bus routes, they have a Bio Flex Laser Machine that has helped my back & neck and it can be used on many difference areas of your body. I do the Spinal Line machine adjustments on every visit, it love it and it is making a difference as I have a hard time to relax my back on regular adjustments. I've went to two of the massage therapists who were amazing in their office, if you have headaches get a cranial massage it works wonders. They have Physio, shock treatment and are extremely knowledgeable in many areas.
Their receptionist Debbie is extremely helpful and is really good to work with when you are trying to arrange appointments.
If you want to feel better and you have been thinking about trying a Chiropractor for the first time, stop by to see Monique in the main level of the Maritime Centre on the same floor as Niche. My first time ever doing Chiro was in May 2016 and now it will be part of my life on at least a monthly basis. I should have started doing this many years ago, if I did I wouldn't be in the position I'm in today.

A couple years ago I had a tibial plateau fracture and had gone elsewhere for physio. My leg never felt right and always felt heavy, swollen & the color wasn't good. A few months ago I went to Maritime Chiropractic and talked with Dr. Aucoin who suggested a couple different options which i followed. Apart from the chiropractic side of things, I also dealt with Sarah who used Shock wave treatment and laser treatment along with exercises. Within a very short time, the heaviness left my leg and i could walk so much better! My circulation has really improved and the color of my leg improved. I have monthly visits for overall wellness and will always continue with Maritime Chiropractic & Wellness. All the staff are excellent to deal with!!
