Best Dental center I've ever had. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends in the Chilliwack area.

I moved to Chilliwack about 2 years ago and this office was close by to where I lived. Myself and my 2 kids ended up with Yolanda Tiessens as our dentist by default because the other dentist we were supposed to see had left, which seems to happen a lot at this office, like the other reviewer mentioned. The office looked ok-a little dated but clean. The hygienist we had was nice and she told us our teeth looked like we were all doing a great job at brushing and flossing. We had x-rays done, which I later found out were not the low radiation digital ones that the more up-to-date offices have. Tiessens found 20 cavities between the 3 of us. I was shocked! Never have we ever needed to have so much dental work done. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and all he could find was 2 small cavities and he put a watch on them because this dentist was honest and he knew that cavities can remineralize and heal themselves. Most dentists will not tell you this because they want to grind away your healthy tooth surface and put plastic/glass composite filling that will only last 5-10 years and then you get another, and then another....until the tooth either needs to be root canalled and crowned or has to be removed all together and replaced with a bridge or implant- all the while $iphoning thousands of dollar$ out of your wallet like $ome $leazy used car $ale$ per$on. If you plan on using this office I would proceed with caution and always trust your gut instincts and get a second ,or even a third opinion if the diagnosis doesn't seem right to you.

I went 5 long years without going to the dentist so I knew there was a lot of work to be done. I ended up needing to have 11 fillings done! Being anxious about getting loaded with needles for freezing, I was so glad I chose this dentist and had Dr.Thiessen work on me. She was very gentle and patient, educating me as she was going along. I ended up having 30+ needles and I barely felt half of them. She's a wonderful dentist and a very nice lady! I highly recommend her. The reviews here are nothing like what I experienced, I'm so glad I was referred by a family friend.
