Probably my favorite sushi place in Calgary, and a standard go to for customer meetings.
Love the tasting menu to try to variety of sushi based on the chef's daily recommendations.
Also would recommend the salmon and tuna rice cakes, they are amazing!

Stay away from the KFC Karaage chicken. Sashimi salad and sockeye salmon makimonos were delicious.

The restaurant is very fancy and somewhat intimate but the sushi rolls are nothing special. I ordered some of the specialty rolls at 15 and 20 dollars each but I was really underwhelmed. Not only were the rolls too small but, they tasted quite bland as well. I have ate far better sushi at less established and cheaper sushi restaurants. Usually speciality rolls are artistically made but these looked like regular rolls. If you are looking for a great tasting sushi rolls then skip this place and roll right on by somewhere else.

The chiefs tasting menu is very well done. Always something interesting. Very nice interiors and if they are not too busy the staff is always pleased to make intelligent conversation and give you some insights into what is being served in the tasting menu and some stories to make it a bit more interesting. Sushi is great, I just got back from Japan and this place measures up to what was available their!
