I cannot say enough amazing things about Melissa, Dr. Da Silva and Protea Spa.
I suffer from both acne and rosacea and have various skin care concerns such as uneven skin tone and fine lines. After learning about IPL treatment I researched it at great lengths which is when I discovered Protea Spa in Barrie. I emailed the spa with all my concerns and hesitations regarding IPL and was replied to within minutes by Melissa who encouraged me to come in for a free one-on-one consultation to address all my concerns and questions on a personal level.
After meeting Melissa I was put at immediate ease! She is by far the most passionate, friendly, and warmhearted person I have ever met! She is incredibly knowledgeable in what she does and the services she provides. My consultation with her was personal and completely focused on my needs, goals, and concerns. I at no point felt persuaded into purchasing treatments or left my consultation with unanswered questions or apprehensions.
I have been been doing IPL treatments with Melissa for several months and I have now extended into receiving treatments with Dr. Da Silva who is just as phenomenal as Melissa.The prices at Protea are beyond reasonable and they always have various promotions running that don’t come at a cost of reduced quality or service.
Protea Spa has become more than just a spa for me, it is apart of my skin care regime! I have never been more in love with how my skin looks and feels and it didn’t come at the result of harsh antibiotics.
I highly recommended Protea Spa to anyone, you will be beyond satisfied with the service, the atmosphere, the prices and your results!

I have been to many spa's in the Barrie area. I have finally found the place to call my spa service home. Gentle and kind and always on time. Anna is a delight and spectacular at botox injections. Thank you for being so kind and giving me confidence in myself.

I have been to Protea Medi spa numerous times and have had the best experience . The staff are kind and knowledgable . I would definitely recommend this spa to family and friends .
