This is a great pub and the service is good - but the food has gone down in quality by a huge margin. In a party of three, two ordered the Pub Club which was sub-standard for what we have had there in the past - the other meal being a Beef Dip was comprised of inedible meat. We are so very disappointed and as this is the second time being disappointed - now we will go to another Pub up the street and not return to the Bull And Barrel ever again. Too bad because with a little help things would get back on track - wow just to save a little money - what a shame.........

I love going there with friends, my son or by myself. The beer is cold and the food is great! However there is this one waitress with short blond hair, and she is unapproachable and very rude. I was chatting with a friend at the bar and she scolded me for what I was talking about which wasn't anything bad, and told me the other patrons don't need to hear me. Ever since then when I go here I feel as though I receive dirty looks and the cold shoulder. I am also a patron and my money is just as good as the next. Other than that I love the experience here and the other waitresses are amazing!

This place is awesome and deserves so much more traffic. The food is unbelievable, staff amazingly friendly and the live music was good the night I was there. I highly recommend giving it a go.

Great pub in Barrie. It's got ample amounts of free parking unlike the pubs and bars in the downtown area. Great selection of beers on tap. Very large sized portions of food. Very good tasting food. Super friendly staff.
