Easily the best restaurant I had visited in SE Asia. Exquisite gourmet food for an incredibly affordable prices. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff was something I haven't encountered in years, both at home and abroad. Mahob Khmer went above and beyond in every facet. 11/10.

Quiet expensive relative to the other local restaurants. (Not that much, but relatively, about 20~25 / person) Foods and the atmosphere was really great. Looks popular to tourists, rather than local people. Servers can communicate well in English. I had great experience.
But if you now are trying to eat this place at outside? Be careful about coconut which can directly drop to your dish. :) it also was great experience Haha

It felt like I was walking through somebody's front garden and entering their private home for a meal. The interior looked airy and uncluttered.
I ordered beef steak and asked for it to be well done. I was surprised when it arrived sizzling away on a very hot slab of black stone which was placed on top of a block of wood. The chef arrived at the table and explained to me what I should do so that the steak is well done. Well, I spent the next 10 minutes or so cooking my meat on this very hot stone. The taste was heavenly with the two different sauces they gave.
There is a band of paper placed around the stone to stop one's hands getting burnt. Just keep in mind that there is a risk of getting burnt, especially if one's hand slips when cutting. Apart from that, this place is worth a visit if you ever go to Siem Reap. But keep in mind that very hot stones and children may be a very risky mix.
