Great view and location. Average food and strange service. Worst schnitzel ever and a chef salad that took longer than 45 minutes and they were not even busy! Their excuse was I had a soup before (30 minutes before!)

Very poor customer service, the staff made no attempt to make me and my family feel welcome and they came across as very rude. Despite being there for just 15 minutes we were asked how long we were going to stay for as they had other customers who wanted to sit on our table. I think it had something to do with the fact that we were not buying champagne. If you want to show off and act pretentious then come here. If you want better food with friendly customer service then go to hahnenkammstuberl, it's just a 3 minute walk over the escalator.

Probably one of the worst "restaurant" experiences of my life, but I cannot dispute its great location. The menu is nothing special and somewhat limited.
However, the staff are the most rude I have ever come across. To your average British family who aren't Russian oligarchs and ordering 5 bottles of Dom Perignon at lunchtime, we were made to feel like second class citizens.
"No reservations taken" we were told, despite 90% of the tables displaying a "reserved" sign.
We were then crowded onto the end of a table and when our three children joined us 15 minutes later, the customers at the other end of the table complained. We were shouted at by "Chris" the waiter and treated in the most humiliating fashion, the end result of which, was us leaving and only paying for our drinks.
Having spoken to locals, we have been informed that this is probably the most elitist restaurant in town, where unless you are spending in excess of €1000 at lunchtime, your custom isn't welcome.
If it weren't for the fact that you are a captive audience, as this is the only restaurant at the top of the Hahnenkamm, we wouldn't have gone there in the first place.

We arrived at this restaurant and felt unwelcome and treated unfairly. We sat down, and then were told that we weren't allowed to use a fifth seat for the seven of us because the guy who had reserved the seat wanted to put his arm on a chair. We were rudely told to move and we decided to leave the restaurant. The staff are very specific in who they like to seem friendly and approachable towards, specifically targeting customers who want to spend a little more money.
