Owner of this place doesn't know what is customer service! He is racist, who doesn't like people that don't speak germane.
When we came there reception was closed and there was a ring with sign call for service wait 2 minutes. We call, no one came. We were trying to call on phone number, but there where no response. We were waiting around 15-20 minutes, we call a ring couple times and nothing...
When we try to call ring couple times in a row, owner came and start screaming why we calling the ring and what we want here!
We answer that we call because no one answer and that we want to stay here for night, he told us to getaway from here and never comeback...
So maybe this camping has a good location and it's clean, but owner is @sshole and racist, and I'll never recommend this place to someone who doesn't know germane language.

Owner is a very rude, sad and xenophobic person. Clearly doesn't like Polish people and tries to show it since first sight. Makes pathetic jokes trying to hummiliate his guests. Shouldn't run a business like this. Hallstatt would be a lot nicer experience if we did't meet this horrible guy

I agree with the other reviewers - stay here ONLY if you have no other place to stay. We travelled from Canada travelling down from Frankfurt Germany to Dubrovnik Croatia and back in a caravan.
We experienced some frustration with tourists during our travels, but NOTHING like what we experienced at this campground. It seems to me that the owner has the market cornered being the only campground in Hallstatt, so he is not afraid to be rude to his customers.
The morning we left, we had a busy day ahead of us, so we packed up early and headed out as soon as we could. The office did not open until 8 am for check out and we arrived at 7:55 [no exaggeration on the time] the door was open so we went in to check out.
The owner looked up and slammed his coffee down on the counter and began his angry, loud tirade asking us what we thought was going on, he wasn't open yet and that he wasn't here to cater people who can't read the sign on the door. He then sent us back out to wait the 5 minutes until he was 'open'.
When we went back in 5 mins later, he continued his rude tirade as he slammed every coin of our change on the counter. He completed his tirade by saying, "If you don't like it, go back to Quebec!"
We could not believe the absolute ignorance and racist hate this man was spewing at his customers. It is mind boggling he still has a business.
The only good thing good I can say about his place is that the washrooms were clean but the soap and paper dispensers were empty.

Well... :-)
Owner has indeed specific personality, but I think that with basic level of cool-headedness it's not something to rage about. Either that - or we got lucky, but I've seen the guy taking an effort to manually fix bike of one of his customer's kid, so it could be a good idea to get past his extremely dry and stern sense of humor.
Besides that, camp is decent - you can see staff cleaning the facilities multiple times a day. Showers are free of charge.
Camp is well situated, roughly 10 minutes of walking from the town center and is very quiet.

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO RUIN YOUR HOLIDAY YOU SHOULD AVOID THIS CAMP.
The owner is the worst person I've ever met. I couldn't finish reservation because of he, It was better to spend holiday in the wild.
Despite he was rude I tried to calm him... cause I thought he had bad day ... I was really polite ... he started to scream at me and he was running in circle .... he is crazy. But he can do whatever he wants because it's only one camp in Hallstatt. BUT WAKE UP IT'S MUTCH BETTER TO SLEEP IN ANOTHER VILLAGE AND USE TRAIN AND THEN SHIP TO GET HERE. You'll have better pictures and experience. I am not a garbage. I have fillings....😥.
