wow!! this was the best decision I ever make . I had a refractive lens exchange and the morning after the surgery I was able to drive I could see clearly . the surgery was quick and painless . I would like to say thank you to Dr Ian Chan , Sarah Lefevre and all the team of ACULASE .

Having worn glasses (and later contact lenses) since I was 5 years old with a strong prescription, and being ineligible for Lasik, I was thrilled to be able to have Dr Chan's "SMILE" procedure. I had given up entirely on the thought of ever having a contact lens-free existence.
After a very thorough and robust assessment process involving Dr Chan's delightful team, I was booked in for the procedure within a month. The procedure itself was straightforward, quick, painless and comfortable. The recovery was good - just a day of convalescence - after which I was able to see, for the first time in 38 years, without a visual aid.
It's now been over 6 months since the procedure and I still can't believe I can see without a visual aid - it's been quite a life changing experience for me. Also, as a result of no longer wearing contact lenses, my eyes have never looked or felt so healthy.

2 days after SMILE surgery and I am incredibly impressed. My vision without glasses is better than expected - and should continue to improve as the inflammation from the surgery naturally decreases.
Dr Chan talked through each step of the surgery which I would describe as uncomfortable but not painful. The venue for the surgery in West Perth seemed nice, neat and new.
I am very happy that I have placed my faith in ACULASE so far.

Goodbye contact lenses and glasses!!! I had the amazing ReLEx SMILE procedure done to correct my nearsightedness + astigmatism. Since then, I have been enjoying a very sharp and crystal clear vision! Its amazing! I am very happy with the whole procedure, from assessment to the day of surgery and follow up appointments. I have already recommended this procedure to my family and friends. A big thank you to Dr Ian Chan, his team at Aculase Laser Eye Surgery and all the lovely nurses and staff at Perth Eye Hospital.
