I was really disappointed by the aggressive behaviour of the bouncer last saturday night. I was waiting patiently in line with my friends having a conversation between ourselves when he decided to single me out on my opinion on the discussion we were having. I simply said i disagreed with his comment and tried to continue my conversation with my friends. However he then continued to talk overtop of me saying again that i was wrong. I disagreed again trying to ignore his glare and continue waiting until it was my turn to show my ID. When i went to approach the door, he then aggressively leaned towards me and said 'there goes your '2 for 1' deal and ripped up my ticket for the 2 for 1 drinks deal he had been giving everyone else in line. I was totally taken aback as i had done nothing wrong other than defend my opinion in a conversation i was having with a friend and was not welcome in. Since when can i be treated so wrongly by standing my ground on my opinion i had on something that had nothing to do with this man? To me it just felt like he was having a power trip amd looking to pick a fight. By this point i no longer wanted to enter the venue, why would i want to go into a place with such negative vibes?? When i told him i no longer wanted to enter the venue and that he was being a dick (this was the first time i said something out of place) he then called up the next bar we were going to and told them not to let me in. Not my friends... just me. Why should i be discriminated against because of my opinion?
