Great accomodation, clean, tidy, roomy. Good price for 3 adults. Access to adventure area allowed somewhere to escape gor coffee and ice cream. Good parking close to city.

Just had the lamb ribs.
For 30 bucks i would expect more than an entree sized serving of half a dozen deep fried ribs with a miniscule amount of meat on them.
Salad was nothing more than a free leaves of rocket and a couple of strands of carrot and yellow capsicum.
I have just ordered the lamb shank ass i was still extremely hungry, the lamb shank is massive and absolutely delicious.
Pretty poor when you need to order a second main due to the first being so small and ordinary.
Ps, i also ordered pepper sauce on the side worth the ribs, I'm still waiting :/

When I chose my hotels I always like good quality amenities such a shampoo, toilet paper, coffee, tea etc and Penny Royal always provide with the best quality every time I stay whilst I'm on business. Nice historic motel with charm as well as large good size rooms, close to centre of city. Be aware however stairs are involved to get to most rooms and car parking is away from your room. There is however a short term parking area to load and unload bags.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at this accommodation. The check-in experience was excellent, Donna was efficient and friendly providing maps and restaurant list for the area as we were new. Upon coming up to our quaint little room we were greeted with a cute gift and card for our anniversary. Bed was comfy as and not just two twins pushed together as some accommodation is know to do. Shower was hot and high pressure, just what was needed after a long day touring the local area. Accommodation is walking distance to three of the top restaurants in Launceston. Overall very impressed with our short stay, and for the price we would for sure stay again.
