I have to live here in order to attend my school as my home is too far away. All in all I have hated the experience since the first week of being there. The meals (that you have no choice but to pay for if youre under 18) are 60% cheap carbohydrates such as rice, pasta and bread. And the meat included with the meals is usually highly processed and very cheap. The heating is turned off from spring (having some of the coldest days in the year) until the winter of the next year and the owner says "dont bring in electric heaters to compensate" or something along those lines. Furthermore I was forced to participate in "compulsory house events" wich are much like a school sports carnival but with about maybe 18 people that actually show up and goofy potato sack races instead of sports.
Honestly, myself disliking this place so much i could probably go on about a dozen things, however those are the main issues i have with the place.
All in all, the review probably deserves 2 stars but i think the average review should come down a lot more, hence my 1 star. They do provide accomidation, electricity, water and food, if you could call it that.

I'm staying here for a study abroad program. The building is a little old and poorly insulated, but the people running the place are extremely helpful and will go to great lengths to fulfill a request. Bob, the owner, is hilarious as well.
