The Boatshed Restaurant was recommended to me as being a great place to eat, however I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. Although the staff were pleasant, the restaurant conducive to quiet dining; the quantity and quality of the food certainly did not live up to my expectations. I thought that it was very expensive $43 for seafood chowder which included only 1scallop, 2 prawns, 3 small mussells and 1 piece of kalamari in chowder sauce. I spent more time trying to find the seafood than eating it. I don't mind paying good money for a meal but I have to say that I felt RIPPED OFF!!! When I informed the staff of my disappointment with the substance of the meal I was informed that the chef would be advised as he usually takes this information on board. Not much good to me and I can't with any conscience recommend this restaurant.

Very expensive for what you get overall for the food/venue/location. Its a fine place but the price, whoa! My company even pays for my meals all over WA so take from that what you will.

Fantastic meal and friendly service. We were in a small room with no more than 6 tables, so the sound levels were great for a nice easy conversation and the food was absolutely delicious. We will be coming back everytime we visit Geraldton.

Cannot fault The Boatshed's food and service. We had a group of 20 guests that we treated to dinner. Fantastic! Thanks Boatshed!
