Had the green smash for brekkie, the poached eggs were perfect and the green smash was tasty. The sourdough bread was cut just a little too thickly for my taste. My girlfriend had the Avo on Rye, there were nice chunks of tomato through the avo smash. Coffee! so good, we both had a couple of cups, mine is a long black. It was hot and not burnt.

Nice decor, excellent service. Menu is standard and our meals were well presented. Easy parking out front for a quick breakfast.

Great breakfast. Dishes and coffee consistently well prepared and served. Worth trying more than once if you are looking for good quality food and a casual elegant atmosphere. 5 stars.

Without doubting the quality of food, the wait time for the food is terrible (been told it was half an hour. We took the chance as we've never been here). The wait time was 1 hour and 15 min. Granted the fact we came here during peak hour at around 10.30am, however, other busy cafes have set a benchmark. This cafe needs to expand its kitchen and no. of kitchen staff, this place is too big for a small kitchen with two chefs and one washup guy working to the grind. Everyone else were really friendly and the servers did make an effort to make up for the long wait. I think everyone should be aware about this.

I found Moose & Gibson while browsing the map for a Sunday coffee spot. Three of us went for coffee and my Long Black was great. Also order a pot of tea and a cappuccino. The staff were friendly and attentive and very much seemed to be enjoying work. It is a great funky industrial vibe with some fancy copper work over the coffee machine and a nice old bike up above the kitchen.
