Meh....entrees were a delight to the tastebuds but the mains average - what's with the enrtee sized gnocchi main? Why was my pasta undercooked? Not good enough....and why ask me for feedback upon leaving, but then scoff when it doesn't align with your views? Nice waitress, beautiful wine, but the rest meh for the price.

Amazing food and the wine was equally incredible. The service was impeccable. Highly recommended!

The food and wine are good but that hardly matters when you have waited 2.5 hours for the main course. All up we were there for 3.5 hours and that was after complaining about the slow service. You can not tell me that a slow cooked ragu (ie. cooked during the day) takes 2 hours to get to the table with some pasta. The basement is quaint but it seems the staff are content to forget about you down there unless you speak up. Make sure you go with good company, because you will spend a long long time waiting for attention.

I'm so confused by the mixed reviews on Trip Advisor! I totally loved it. I've worked in hospitality for years and heard about this place from a chef. I asked for the menu out of curiosity but I was going to ask for the chef's favourite. I got recommended the gnocchi and it is literally the best I've ever had in my entire life. I grew up in Europe and visited Italy for quite a few holidays. As a food lover you naturally indulge in the beautiful cuisine that Italy has to offer. I felt like I was in Italy. The ambiance, the amical, warm and beautiful Italian people, the language. I visited alone and really enjoyed seeing all staff having a good time and loving people enjoying their food. Their warm welcome to regulars is heart warming. The wine pairing was amazing. An amazing experience. I will definitely be back.

Great food, amazing service. Was suggested a sweet wine when I was told they don't serve port, and it was lovely. They also gave me the bottle when I asked what it was, including the half a std drink left in it. 10/10 would recommend if you can afford the price. I'll probably only be back infrequently for that reason.
