A great museum preserving the maritime history of Ballina and the Richmond River as well as naval history from Australia and other nations. The Las Balsas raft is preserved here as well

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff (volonteres). Lot of information in a very limited space. Reasonable priced souvenir shop. Only $5 per adult entre.

This Museum is a fabulous place -- there is so much to see -- wish I had had time to give it the time it deserved. My brother and I were only in Ballina a short time, and had other places to go to. Keep it up, Staff. I will certainly tell my friends to check it out at every opportunity. Anne Chapman

Great staff that were enthusiastic about what they were talking about, no entrance fee and lots of room to walk around.

Great place to visit. Volunteers were very helpful Expect to spend a few hours there to look around.
