We are currently touring Europe in a camper van and yesterday I decided we should treat ourselves to a hotel for the night! The requirements were ... great shower, gym, pool, comfy bed, secure parking for the van and nice food - Te Stela ticked all the boxes and more! The hotel has some great reviews but I was almost put off by some negative comments. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and for me it's important that the staff are happy and the place is clean. The lady on reception, gym staff, waiters and cleaners were super lovely and their English was superb. I'd also read some comments about it being 'typically Albanian' as a negative. I LOVED this about the hotel. We're in Albania! Of course I want that experience and not a bland chain hotel. The gym was great, the food was great, breakfast was a simple but tasty buffet. Yes the hotel is off an industrial estate but that was just perfect for us! No driving through the busy city and lots of big parking spaces with a security guard on site and locked gates. The shower was a huge rain shower (we treated ourselves to the junior suite for £50 !!) We'd also read the comments about noisy live music but there was none so a very peaceful night in a super comfy bed. Just an all round wonderful experience.

We will remember our stay at Te Stela for a long time as the most inconvenient holiday. As we were checking out we didn't receive my passport, which we didn't realize until we reached the border of Montenegro in the evening. After stressfull time by the border and searchig for the document in the car we called the hotel (google number was to the restaurant, where they gave us the number to a sport center, from where we finally reached the reception...) where they confirmed by saying "Oh yes, it's here". Nobody called us about it, we lost 6 hours in the traffic to get it back, we had to skip our plans and lose booking in Montenegro, all because of their unprofessional behaviour. What we got for that was a dinner (after asking for anything to eat, what we received at first was 'We're sorry'). Very bad experience.

Very nice place to do holidays, I sugest to evryone to visit this resort, you will find here everything, good food good service live music pool gym good people

Good place. Good music. The food so so.. the service was bad.. 3 stars only for the service.. thank you to the piano bar player for the dedication of the happy bithday's song. It was really nice☺
