Had a lovely brunch here with my boyfriend, loved being able to sit outside, but being in the park and not on a busy road. Great atmosphere, plenty of places to sit, must be lovely in the evening too with the lights on. We both had scrambled egg on toast and salad, we were served a very generous amount of food, nicely presented, lovely black tea and a cappuccino. Very good value for the money, the food was tasty and it was affordable.

Amazing location for a lunch with children. The food is a bit pricey but decent, the staff is friendly but they have some service issues and are slow when its busy.
I recommend if you go with children

Incredible beer garden at the edge of vondelpark. One of the most relaxing places I have been to in Amsterdam. Greats beers and finger food. Lovely on a sunny Sunday

I hope that the cook was just drunk that evening. My marinated chicken was just a piece of plain boiled chicken. Hard and tasteless. Vegetables as side dish seemed to be unfrozen. Quality/price place really suck. The good thing is that it's next to a playground so if you with kids you can have some free minutes
